How to Register
A complete application includes a written application (found at the end of the application package), a $50+HST non-refundable application fee, and a letter of recommendation from your Moksha studio owner. Further details on how to apply can be found above in the application package.
Prerequisites
Part of being a great teacher is grounding your teaching in a solid yoga practice. For this reason we ask that you have been practicing yoga for at least 1 year. Exceptions are made for those with experience in similar traditions - tai chi, nia, feldencrais, dance etc. Further details are outlined in the application package.
Group Size
We limit the size of the training so that there can be ample room for everyone while still having a large enough group to create a cohesive community. If you are very interested in the course, please apply early.
The Distance Learning Component
Each teacher trainer is required to complete monthly projects for each of the 11 months that follow the 1-month intensive. For the modular training these projects will begin upon acceptance to the program. You will be assigned any of a number of projects that include, but are not limited to:
Acceptance Confirmation
Applications that come in earlier will be responded to earlier. You can expect to hear two weeks after your complete application is received. Upon receiving an acceptance email, further action is required to confirm your spot in the training. Details are outlined in the application form. When the training is full, we start a waiting list.
